Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is a celebrated throughout Mexico and other parts of the world as a way of remembering loved ones who have died. But this occasion is not about mourning the loss of loved ones; this time is about celebrating their lives and welcoming the return of their spirits. Cemeteries are visited, graves are decorated, altars are set up and people dress up during the three day festivities.
